Technological start-up based in Lisbon continues bold investment in a unique, long-term supercloud (cloud-of-clouds) distributed storage solution that brings sovereignty, cybersecurity and cost efficiency to companies that create value with data.
Porto, March 12, 2024 – Beta Capital completed the investment at Vawlt Technologies, a promising start-up in the global long-term data storage market, that today announced that it closed an additional €2.15 million round of funding.
In addition to Beta Capital, Vawlt secured 2 other new investors, Lince Capital and Basinghall. This round of financing also includes participation from existing investors Armilar Venture Partners and Shilling VC, as well as the investment of two former executives from Cisco and OVHcloud.
The Fund’s management team highlights the importance of the impact of data management security and efficiency, in a context of exponential growth in data generated and stored by companies globally.
With this investment, Vawlt will continue the development of proprietary technology and its implementation in customers at a global level.
