Technological start-up founded at the University of Minho is now part of the portfolio of the Beta Innovation fund, which invests in technological companies based on R&D.
Porto, November 23, 2023 – Beta Capital completed the investment in Nutrium, thus completing the bridge investment round of 2 million euros, together with Lince Capital, M4 Ventures and Primavera SGPS. This round will allow the company to expand its well-being solution to new markets, as well as continue the development of its technology to create an increasingly complete solution.
Nutrium developed a software/app that brings nutritionists and patients together, with tools that improve monitoring between appointments and health outcomes. Nutrium’s technological solutions are used by more than 250 thousand nutritionists in more than 90 countries and have already helped more than 2.5 million patients to improve their eating habits.
The Fund’s management team highlights Nutrium’s positioning in its differentiated approach to the nutrition and well-being sector, focused on personalization and the relationship between nutritionists and a public increasingly aware of the importance of healthy eating.
With this investment, Nutrium will continue the development of its technology and its adaptation to new geographies, as well as investing in the corporate wellness segment, through Nutrium Care, a well-being solution for companies and employees.
